Galduen of the Void

I like the art, story, and general theme of the game. It is extremely buggy, however, and the gameplay never really changes. Good potential.

This game is pretty cool and has potential. I hope it gets more attention. Ok, a bit more to say. This game is still in development, so there are quirks. But the core gameplay loop is really satisfying and the art is cool. Its also currently free so what have you to lose?

Galduen of the Void is a really interesting little space management game that I found much more engaging than I expected. The basic idea is that I am running a space agency for the people of Galduen, whose three races have finally stopped fighting each other and decided to work toward reaching the stars. From there, I have to manage the agency, research technology, design spacecraft and gradually explore the Galduen star system. I liked the setting because it gives the usual space management idea a more colourful fantasy feeling. The management side is probably what kept me playing. I have to decide what technology to research and what kind of spacecraft I actually need for the next stage of exploration. The progression starts with relatively simple technology and eventually lets me work toward things like better engines and solar sail probes. I enjoyed the feeling of gradually improving my capabilities because each technological upgrade gives me access to something that was previously out of reach. Building the spacecraft is another part that I really liked. I can design different types of ships depending on what I want them to accomplish, ranging from probes to crewed spacecraf…
