Generic platformer that can be quite frustrating due stage layouts. Stages are selected from a menu in a linear order. There’s no big story here, you’re just trying to reach the finish line by jumping over chasms and on insects’ heads. Everything looks generic due to the small variety of enemies and locations. You encounter a few creatures, such as wasps and cockroaches, and the locations offer very little. Geko's only ability is to kill foes by jumping on them and climbing up the wall. Climbing is really bad; geko always slides down when you jump on a wall and you can't recover if you get hit while climbing. If you hold the jump button while killing an enemy, you will receive a small boost that will propel you a little higher. This method is often used to traverse chasms by jumping on multiple enemies. The game is frustrating because the majority of the stage is made up of holes into which you can easily fall. You're not safe from climbing either; wall jumping mechanic is not good and you enounter slimy …4 found this helpful

It's a solid follow-up to 'Geko: Entering the Pipe' delivering a well-functioning precision platforming experience. With its endearing main character, pleasant art, and fitting sound design, it maintains the gameplay's enjoyable aspects. It's a recommended choice for those who enjoy the genre.2 found this helpful

A fantastic game for genre lovers! It delivers what it promises and is a lot of fun. The art is beautiful, and the music is very good. Clearly, a lot of well-done work went into the game's aesthetics. The difficulty curve is just right, and the level design is very well-crafted. I highly recommend it!
