About Geometric Hell

Geometric Hell is an arcade bullet-hell shooter with minimalistic graphics. Survive waves of aggressive geometric shapes and upgrade to keep up with the progressive increase in difficulty. Defeating bosses rewards you with special upgrades. Many deaths are expected before you get a chance to fight the final boss. Between attempts, you should keep track of your achievements as they reward you with points used for permanent upgrades.

Player

The player can move around within the play area and shoot enemies. The player can also dash, dashing makes the player temporarily invulnerable to most damage in the game, while also dealing massive damage to any enemies you collide with. Other ways of dealing damage are unlocked by defeating bosses.

Enemies and Upgrades

There are currently 6 different types of shapes, each shape has 4 variants: Normal, Elite, Miniboss and Boss. However, the final boss is unique. Defeating enemies rewards you with points used to upgrade at any time, while attempting the game. While upgrading you get 3 alternatives to spend your points on, or you could spend a small amount to refresh. Each unique upgrade can be upgraded 9 times and all prices increase every time you buy an upgrade.

Additionally, bosses award special upgrades, which then will be added to the upgrade system where they can be upgraded further. They can also be upgraded if it's rewarded multiple times from defeating bosses.

Achievements

54 achievement points are currently available, and can be freely added to and removed from upgrades in the achievement menu. This progress is permanent and increases your chances of beating the game.

⭐ "It’s Finally Happening… I Think?" Hours Played: 147 Recommended: 👍 (and mildly traumatized) After 2 years, 4 emotional breakdowns, and one unsettling dream where the patch notes apologized to me personally… it’s finally here. The mythical 1.0 update. The chosen one. The prodigal patch. I genuinely thought this game was going to die in Early Access like a noble soldier who never got to see the war end. But no — against all odds (and logic), the devs actually did it. They remembered us. They emerged from the shadows like some kind of bug-fixing, content-dropping wizards. What changed? I don’t know. What’s new? Does it matter?? I’ve been mentally preparing for this day since the “Coming Soon™” announcement back when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. I have trust issues now. But also? Hope. If you're new, welcome. If you've been here the whole time, grab your Early Access PTSD badge at the door. And to the devs: Never do this to me again, you magnificent maniacs. 10/10 — I survived the wait. Barely.
