About God's Challenge
Once upon a time, when only acres of empty lands, vast oceans and gods existed, the Supreme God realized this world was too boring, thus He decided to create all species – including Humans.
Fearing that Humans could not survive in the harsh nature of the early days, the God of Courage - Gennaios – had stolen the sacred fire and bestowed upon man.
Enraged with this action, the Supreme God decided to deprive Gennaios of all power and set a condition, which is if Gennaios can overcome all challenges, he can once again regain his old power and return to being a God.
When participating in the game, the player will play Gennaios, and with the Sword of Darkness and Sword of Light given by an old friend, the player must conquer all challenges that are set.

I will start with the fact that this game has no locomotion options and is set to the equivalent of other games 'High comfort' mode. There is a vignette across your entire view when you move, you move very slow, snap turn only, and cannot move diagonally. The game does offer a seated mode, which is nice to see given the Seated label seems to be misused by some! You begin your journey around a camp fire, where a man without access to spellcheck.net tells you a story, gifts you a power to summon your weapons, and sends you on your way. The weapons make no sound/effect/feedback when they contact each other. The enemies I met (admittedly I only played up to the first "boss") make no sound either, other than stomping the environment :s It is strange to see a big rock type dude all animated and gesturing "its go time!" right up in your face and yet other than the stomping he made on the walk up to you, he makes no sound otherwise. The combat goes between Until You Fall (great game) and Beat Saber (also a great game), which sounds like a good time right? In those moments it is fun. But it doesnt do either as well, and when coupled with the slow transitions b…8 found this helpful
I sure do wish that Steam had something a bit less binary than Yes or No when it comes to reviews. And for me this is definitely one of those reviews. I think I hate it? Ever take a bite or a sip of something, then sit there for a moment, subjecting yourself to something you feel like you should love but somehow just isn't right? Yet you keep on trying as if something was going to change about your first odd feeling? Yeah, that's this game to me. Maybe if this was 3 years ago and just being well produced, looking, and sounding good was enough. The only way I can possibly describe this is if you can imagine The Morrigan, Hell Split: Arena, Until You Fall, Swords of Gargantua, and Legend of Zelda's audio dude ended up at the same hotel, each having had "one too many" at the end of a long day, and ended up in a wild night of ill advised baby making activities?? If you can imagine that in your head and you want to avoid a headache, do it now. If you MUST know what such an offspring might look like in it's not-yet fully fledged state then I say go for it. What is it? Game play wise its closest to Until you Fall, if you were to take most that is unique out of it and put it on a pla…8 found this helpful
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/7YHlugfMhMc God's Challenge is a clone of Until You Fall .. a bad, basic, bare-bones clone of Until You Fall. Most clones try to add something new to the mix. God's Challenge simply tried to make a complete game out of the most basic elements of Until You Fall and then tried to extend the gameplay by having you fight pointless trash mobs and then have you re-fight every single boss fight you just fought in the 5th level. I am not impressed. I don't normally refund games that I purchase. However, this game was so boring and repetitive that I did give it serious consideration. Ultimately, I decided against it but that 5th level is really, really awful. In this game there are basically 4 levels. You fight the boring trash mobs and then you face the boss at the end of the level. Thankfully, there aren't many trash mobs, but the boss fights do take a tad bit too long. The problem is that if you fail, you have to restart from the very beginning of the level (you only get one resurrection or retry at the same spot you died in each level). After you beat the 4 levels, …7 found this helpful

I really liked this. It has a great fighting system and the difficulty is just perfect with real punishment for getting it wrong. I really recommend this and will look out for more games from this team.
