Gods vs Humans is a lighthearted action-strategy game developed by Artefacts Studio and published by Microids Indie that flips the traditional god-game formula on its head. Instead of nurturing civilizations or guiding humanity’s progress, you play as a deity trying to stop humans from reaching your celestial domain. The premise is simple but clever: mortals are building towering structures to ascend into the realm of the gods, and it is your job to disrupt their efforts without completely destroying them. The catch is that your divine power depends on their worship, so wiping them out entirely is not an option. This dynamic creates a playful balance between intervention and restraint. Cute 3d art. Game sucks.1 found this helpful
Can entertain you for several minutes. Honestly the game does not annoy me so much as thinking that the idea could be developed into a cool game, and this cannot be considered such. Consider it as a middle of the road online flash game, Not to disparage the devs, there is a lot of good work and ideas thrown into it, but I cannot recommend anyone buy it.
I bought this game for under a dollar and its fun, its something different, unique in its own way. There arent many games like this accept the old populous, dust, and babel
Colorful, relaxing mobile-like game... though I am surprised I can't find this game on actual mobile game store. But worth playing
Its possible that Gods vs Humans goes somewhere later on, but it was a very monotonous experience within the space of time that I played. A simple game for simple minds, probably much more suited to mobile devices. Probably quite suitable for kids, but as a grown man this doesn't really cut it. Given the game now routinely sells at 90% off though, it could be worth your while if you have a mobile device and a child to entertain.
