This is a terrible terrible mobile game. You have to seriously grind to get upgrades and there are no hotkeys. Gameplay consists of scrolling to find enemies, dragging abilities to enemies and holding the left mouse button to damage them. There's only the slightest hint of a tower defense element in the form of the 2-3 mostly useless creatures you can place. There is no single enemy path, they come from half a dozen separate ones. There's no strategy involved. Even with three in place at best they slow the enemy, 95% of the damage still comes from the player. The "three campaigns" are just three different gods that have their own basic ability, upgraded ability and ranged attacker. You constantly play on the same map for each god, with the same spawn points. The maps are virtually the same since there are proper paths, the higher ones just require more annoying scrolling to find the enemy on the other side of the hill. Oh, and balance is awful. One map i nearly died, the next i survived with almost no damage, the one after that with half my temple intact. All with the same set of upgrades. It's just awful all around.

To be honest, I don't know...the game is cheap and fun, but on the other hand tends to get boring soon. And it's annoying without shortcut keys, but with them would probably get too easy. It is good if you want to play something for few minutes...

Tags: Tower Defense Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Novelty effect dies quick, gameplay repetitive, cooldowns samey and uninventive. Game might had felt fun with a touch interface a long time ago but feels gimmicky and limited now. Reminds me vaguely of a Molyneux style game in presentation. You are atop a mountain and use cooldown powers and spawn towers inspired by mythological creatures to kill greeks coming to destroy your godtemple. Has proper PC resolution options. Has an endless mode. Mostly a clicker game and the sound effects are sometimes a little bit on the repetitive/silly side. Balancing is a little off, you are clearly better off upgrading cooldown powers and buying each creature than the other way around otherwise you hurt your income of coins and delay progression and increase grind. Each gods and levels end up playing the same, only with you having to fend off the increasingly high bulletsponge healthcount enemies with increasingly leveled abilities that you ginded coins for. The constant screen shaking and repeated sound effects do grate. The smiting of foes with godly powers comes across exactly as it is, a collection of samey…

This game is super simple, short on content (albeit there's an endless mode), and not especially innovative. However, it is fairly fun, as others have noted. Here are some things to note: - It runs at 60 fps, zero stuttering for me (vsync needs to be forced through Nvidia ctrl panel/etc. if you get tearing, which I did) - Graphics are pretty, thanks to Unreal Engine. No antialiasing, but forcing FXAA via ctrl panel works great. - It's a clicky-tower defense game where you're a Greek god. - You click to kill things and use powers and buy creatures to guard mount Olympus from earthlings. I'd say its worth a few bucks. It met my little tower-defense/god-game craving quite fine.
