Guardians of the Ashes

Unexpectingly somewhat enjoyable game if you're going in expecting literally nothing. Fortunately, I haven't meet any bugs so I can't say anything about the technical side. But as long as you don't pay close attention to the plot, it's an alright game. But I guess I just have a thing for some thoughtless and primitive action. So, yeah, gameplay was okay, plot was meh. But a price like that it's a good treat. As for the most infuriating part for me. It's the R18 dlc/patch. I started the game for R18 and stayed for gameplay. But I had to look at the dlc. And, oh boy, that was probably the worst ever experience with hentai in a game. Disappointing and infuriating at the same time. And here's why: Each scene features one of the girls and some random-ass male that doesn't even exist in the story. A scene gets unlocked once we reach some bond level. We play as a FEMALE protagonist. The girls are supposed to be having a bond with her. So, the question is what the f and why the f The question was already asked by others. Good RPG but sometimes long and boring. Recommended for the gameplay!!!

I would have loved to like it if it was not sold under the incorrect pretense that it is a roguelike, which it isn't. There's absolutely nothing roguelike about this game. The story however is hilarious in a non intended way and the gameplay kinda meh repetetive. I still don't understand why there are so many characters if the leveling is kinda skewed to level up only one character to go through the game.

An okay ARPG type game. Unfortunately, it's not one I can recommend. I did complete 100% it, but it was quite a slog toward the end. The character artwork is decent, along with the graphics and music. Nothing special. In fact, the entire game kind of looks like a mobile game ported to PC. The combat became droll and uninteresting and very grind-y. The character progression is a mix of Souls-like leveling where you spend points to level a stat, and each point added to a stat counts as a level gained. As such, characters could grow to over level 100, but it doesn't mean much. Character skills, on the other hand, level up based on usage, with each successive level requiring more uses to level up. Each of the five characters has special abilities which are only usable outside of combat, and mainly to throw a switch or move around to break up the repetitiveness. It would've been nice to see the skills used for combat purposes as it would've made the fights more interesting. One of the main gripes is the control scheme. super lot of bugs it possible the game had a lot of bug because of installation? and i search gameplay in the youtube its not the same like this game is a rip off the first bug i encounter is when you pray at the statue the monster you kill reset so you can have unlimited soul and the gameplay i search in youtube use mouse pointer to move while this using keyboard i dont know if maybe i play in hell mode thats why a lot of bug but still the graphics and gameplay is great just the bug is unplayable i hope this will fix
