About Guild of Ascension
Guild of Ascension is a Tactical-Action-RPG with rogue-lite elements, mixing turn-based combat with real-time action combo system.
Craft weapons, learn skills, befriend critters, encounter bizarre creatures, and fight giant Bosses in your Ascension of the Tower!
The Tower grants you few seconds to act freely during your turn, make sure to use them wisely by learning and master your weapons combo and special attacks.
If your group wants to succeed in the Tower, it must plan and act in perfect harmony, like they are sharing the same mind.
The Tower will reward you after each fight, keep the money and materials for the guild.
But make sure to ask for privileges that will help you during your next challenges, as climbing the Tower is no easy task.
Once you are back from you lastest trip in the Tower, make sure to ask the Guild to craft you some new equipment.
You will need all the help you can get if you hope to Ascend to the top.
Once you find the Guardians of the Tower floors, don't be afraid by their massive size, and use what you learned to overcome the challenge!
Good luck on your Ascension.

Its a nice idea but feels underdeveloped. I bought this years ago, and I feel like it never reached its potential1 found this helpful
Guild of Ascension looks like a simplistic grid-based time-based RPG, which it is, but as I said, simplistic. There's only four shops, each with very few items, which arguably get worse with every upgrade. The starting weapons give +50, the next level is 55, and the next is 60, so the percentage per level gets lower and considering the later enemies can literally one hit you if you're not careful, there's not that much of a difference between the first and last weapon, except maybe the "critical" which actually has a noticeable increase. Most of the effort that seems to be put into this game is from the tower, which unfortunately has it's own ups and downs. Up until the third boss, I actually enjoyed playing the game, unlike most tower-based levelling games, this one resets your stats/skills once you leave the floor, only relying on what you've bought in the shops, items from said shops can be unlocked by completing missions given by the owner of the shop. The third boss is nothing compared to the previous two, having a massive area-wide almost one-hit K.O move that it can repeat, forcing you to build a defensive build, unfortunately the boss also has more health than the previou…1 found this helpful
Guild of Ascension is a hybrid tactical roguelite developed by WhileOne Productions and published by PID Games and Dear Villagers that attempts to merge turn-based strategy with real-time action mechanics inside a fantasy tower-climbing framework. The game centers around a mysterious, ever-challenging tower that players must ascend floor by floor, battling enemies, gathering loot, and gradually strengthening their guild between runs. Rather than committing to a purely tactical RPG or a traditional action roguelike formula, Guild of Ascension blends both, creating an experience that feels experimental and, at times, unconventional. The core structure follows a roguelite progression loop. Each ascent through the tower is effectively a run composed of multiple rooms containing battles, events, shops, and rewards. Rooms are arranged in branching paths, allowing players to make strategic decisions about which encounters to face and which resources to pursue. Eventually, each floor culminates in a boss fight that tests both tactical understanding and execution. Success yields materials, experience, and upgrades that carry forward to future attempts, reinforcing the familiar roguelite cy…
The game is great, I do like it a lot, specially the concept it has. ..I do have a very big issue that would inhibit me form playing me any more... The character models are literally nauseating... This is of course a matter of taste and does not impact the gameplay at all! Great game, would recommend. If there are any plans for a second game which will come as a sequel, please avoid these graphics, nobody wants to play as a half-clown. (either make them "badass" or literal clowns, at least you're aware that you're a clown)
Very cool game! It combines turn-based games with action by giving you a 10-second turn in which you can do your attacks, walk to safety, refill your dodge (shield) bar. The time-stat plus all other stat can be individually upgraded by leveling up (each run the level resets but you get better items, companions and charms) It was a little short with 9 full map runs to go through, with each map full of fights and other things, finished it in around 9 hours but I had a really good time, get it for cheap ^^
