About Hags Castle
Hag’s Castle is a 3D Action Adventure game, inspired by classics like ‘Dungeon Master’ and ‘Eye Of The Beholder’.
The game features real-time combat with a range of crusty creatures that have usurped the hallowed opulence of an ancient Scottish Castle. You, playing as a ‘Wizard’s lackey’, have been asked to perform the quest of rescuing the wizard’s pet dragon ‘Oli’ from the clutches of an evil old witch named ‘Madam Hag’.
There are twenty-five levels in the game, and the player can control movement, fighting and spell-casting entirely with mouse control.
It’s also the first game from Ed Sludden, a veteran Games Artist from the UK with experience working on titles such as ‘Conker’s Bad Fur Day’, ‘Bonsai Barber’ and ‘Adventure Time - Pirates of the Enchiridion’.
The music in ‘Hag’s Castle’ is by Graeme Norgate, a Bafta nominated composer who has worked on video game soundtracks since the late 80’s. Graeme wrote the music on games such as Killer Instinct, Blast Corps, Goldeneye and Perfect Dark.

This was one of the most hag like games on the market. Enemies are cute and fun, along with some nice level design. Would love to see a Hags 2 from the devs.5 found this helpful

The quintessential hag-like experience. In a market so flooded with games describing themselves as "hag-likes" or "hag-lites" and failing to deliver, the developers at Switchpilot remind us of a time when genre didn't matter, and it was just about the game. Hags Castle is a true to form hag-like and is second to none in every category; other developers should take notes on game design and world building with this masterpiece. It is so rare that a game is able to completely immerse the player into its universe, and this game delivers on every front. The combat is phenomenal, the player systems they have in place are way ahead of the competition, the level design is absolutely enthralling, and of course, the enemies are aplenty, and I must say they are by far my favorite enemies in any game I have ever played. The puzzles are fun and engaging, and it is such a joy to be able to explore Hags Castle and find something new down every hallway and behind every door. If I had to make one complaint (and it's really more of a request in a future update), is that there is no reticle on screen. I would love to see one implemented into the game. Even if it is a dynamic reticle that only appear…4 found this helpful

What a groundbreaking experience. I will be awaiting patiently for a sequel. Thank you Hags Castle.2 found this helpful
It is a great game that centers on a young warrior's quest to free his forest friends from the evil clutches of a tyrannical Hag in her terrible Castle! Very engaging dungeon crawling hag-packed experience that will blow your mind! Animations for all the cute goons are very well done, and there is so much more! Although brief, the dialogue sections were incredible in their prose, and the delivery left me speechless. I honestly can't imagine calling yourself a gamer and never having beat Hags Castle. The amount of community discourse on various hag-techs and other hag-likes to scratch our hag itch is frankly insane! I need to seek help for how much me and everyone I know and love has been obsessing over this game! Its actually crazy how much time the developers put into the level design as well, if you pay attention to the fine details you can piece together the cosmology and historical lore of Hag's Castle just from the way each level is layered into one another. Overall, 8/10!2 found this helpful
