Old school dungeon crawler with DnD based classes, some progression in form of vendor upgrades, lots of enemies to kill with plenty of secrets and easter eggs to find along the way. Main campaign takes you through the floors of a castle Hammerwatch where you must climb to the top to claim treasure. Gets a bit repetitive as there`s not much to do besides kill, find color coded single use keys and progress to next floor until you beat it. Expansion does add some much needed mechanic addition in forms of really easy puzzles, but at least it makes pacing better when it has those and not yet another combat arena. There`s workshop support with A LOT of player made maps and a lot of replayability in terms of high score chase or simply playing with every class or even in COOP. Highly recommend!4 found this helpful
love it
It's not the friendliest, I myself haven't beaten it, but if you find a class that's right for you(in my case it's the Paladin,) then congrats! You have a class to carry you as far as you stay sharp!
Great co-op game played multipule times!
Really fun game that is super simple, at least at first glance. It's somewhat rare to find a game that is actually challenging and engaging, but this game is both. I have immensely enjoyed playing solo or with a friend. Well worth the money! Amateur tip: Changing the key binds from only keyboard to mouse AND keyboard is a game changer. Enjoy!
gets very repetitive neir the end but fun game
