About 夏まつりのハナビィ Hanaby's Summer Festival
The third game in the Hanaby series.
Hanaby, the main character, and apprentice pyrotechnician, goes on an adventure to revive the long-paused "Summer Festival". Collect the magic stones called "Tourmalines" in order to restore the ruined railroad.
From this title, fireworks have been changed to disposable packages.
Also, a new fireworks category "Cracker" has been added, expanding the range of strategies.
Hanafuda Challenge is a way to earn money by collecting Hanafuda cards in automatically generated stages.
The more "Koi-koi" you call, the higher your winnings will be, but each time you call, the damage multiplier of Hanaby will increase. Please finish the challenge in the right place.
Again, all BGMs were created by "AAAA".

The third adventure of the best videogame squirrel seems to be more melancholic and wraps the trilogy up in a more bittersweet sense. Now Respark is out, so Summer Festival is not the last Hanaby game, but was it good enough to feel like a grand finale? Good nuts: - Hanaby got another redesign, becoming even more bright, smooth, cute and beautiful. - 25 fireworks (plus Kindling), more than in the previous two games combined - Ability to fly up on handheld fireworks - Hanaby finally got a broom of her own! - New Hanafuda challenge gives more replayability and an easy way to grind for money - New ammo system allows to spam lots of fireworks without worrying about mana - Dramatic and touching final boss along with its gorgeous battle theme - Hanaby actually
does the firework show on screen during the credits
! Not very good nuts: - Main levels are too short and linear, with less secrets due to removal of Star Candies, sometimes they look randomly generated, with lots of empty dead ends; there's not much space to use new handheld flying mechanic; NPCs are also much less frequent, with only a few fellow squirrels out there - The whole vibe of the game feels sadder th…
amazing finale to the hanaby trilogy waow!! fun rework of the system AND a super duper stellar soundtrack by ああああ AND a surprisingly touching story!! 19/10 would burst into tears every single time i hear Longing Never Ends again!!!! i am so sad
Cute platformer game, third part of the Hanaby games but doesnt have to be in order as it holds no connections to the others. Although one thing I wanna add, this game is harder than the other 2. You may wanna use your head in this one because its no walk in the park comparing the previous 2. Beautiful plot too.
Hanafuda fun Life increase was annoying Where are speed run guides?
putting the difficulties out of order is actually hilarious. really fun, and loved the bosses. the difficulty on your first time is going to be rough, but after the first play it became relatively simple. i do wish there was a hard difficulty for the boss fights after the ending, because the bosses did get really cool. the best of the series and has a relatively simple story but that doesnt detriment the fluid platforming this game has. the best parts about this game shine the most, with not too many flaws in its gameplay. really do love the bullet hell it throws at one point, and the actual strategy you have to make when choosing fireworks. gamestyle wise, it is easily comparable to the Kirby series and feels and looks very similar. I think the game could have benefited from more music tracks, although i am biased to the composer, i feel like it felt off playing a few of the levels with a calm song. Gameplay is fluid and great Story is Ok (i wasn't expecting much anyway) Music is by AAAA, i dont think that needs any elaboration and the art is friendly.
-Disposable fireworks is a good change, making you unable to simply spam OP fireworks. -Hanafuda challenges give players a risky but highly-rewarded way of earning Rains (the currency in the game) -Challenging bosses/puzzles -Catchy music by the mighty AAAA.
