I never really got around to playing any of the other additions to the series besides this one, and the bronze horseman, but I'd like to say that those game were my childhood. I played the hell out of them and I'll never forget being a little kid getting scared whenever the gremlin would pop up on screen. Maybe it's not for everyone, but this franchise has given me a lot of fond memories.2 found this helpful
This game is really fun and has a fun story line with it. I remember playing this game as a little little kid 9-11 years ago before it was deleted from mobile. It takes many hours (my playtime was only 4 but I've beat it many times when I was younger) so there is plenty of fun in it. It has searching games, puzzles, and tons of interactive game play. I would totally recommend this game it's really enjoyable and not well known.1 found this helpful
I really enjoyed this one. Fun couple of hours. The story was interestingly creepy.1 found this helpful

Only a "meh" rating on this one, mainly because it became a laborious run in search of needed artifacts from one end to another through a convoluted maze of rooms and landscapes. At the end, I found that I was short a playing card and you need all 52 in order to proceed...welp, back to the running about for another 15 minutes to find it. There are better games in this genre, even from the same developer (Big Fish) but I'm glad this one is over.
As a fan of HOGs and point and clicks, I would highly recommend to give this entire Haunted Legends series a pass. They are clunky and the puzzle solving is kind of infuriating. You think you've solved the puzzle to open a door for example, but, nope, that was just the first part. Now you have to figure out how to open the second part of the lock. With items not yet in your inventory. And a LOT of running around, like more than usual.
