About Heart of Gaia

Four centuries ago, the world witnessed the Decline of the Gods — the end of an age where divine forces walked among mortals. At the heart of this cataclysm a creature forged in the depths of primordial Chaos: Draltaksan, an ancient dragon born from absolute darkness.
Forged at the dawn of the world, Draltaksan belongs to the oldest of the three tyrant races: the dragons — beings born of Chaos, in contrast to humans, shaped between light and shadow, and elves, born from pure light. His rise marked the collapse of harmony among peoples and the fall of the deities that once protected the balance of the world.
Through an unprecedented sacrifice, the threat was contained — but never destroyed.
Now, in a new era of apparent prosperity, the world begins to crack once more. Forgotten signs return. Whispers echo through ancient ruins. Silent cults invoke names long erased from the memory of mankind.
Amid this rising tide of darkness, a young man marked by the past is summoned to the royal capital of Aetheria. His calling is not merely the beginning of a journey, but the rise of a fragile hope in the face of the first shadows threatening to descend upon the world.
Oleg – RogueA shadow warrior marked by the scars of his past. A survivor of a tragedy that devastated his homeland, Oleg is summoned to the heart of Aetheria to answer a higher calling. Quiet yet resolute, he carries in his eyes the promise of vengeance.
Alexander – PaladinCaptain of the northern infantry and member of the sacred Order of Paladins of Aetheria. Alexander embodies honor, loyalty, and unwavering faith in the ideals of the kingdom. A defender of balance and justice, he leads with sword in hand and a pure heart.
Balthazar – MageAn arcane scholar from Velffanor, assigned to a secret mission of great importance: to investigate the whereabouts of a former mage who deserted the Arcane Council and was exiled after delving into necromancy — a forbidden art since the Decline of the Gods. Intelligent and calculating, Balthazar understands the dangers of tampering with the fabric of reality — and knows that time is not on their side.
Katherine – PriestessDaughter of the Lord of Ambrosia, Katherine is a priestess of light admired for her compassionate heart and vast command of white magic. Her spirit is a beacon in dark times, guiding her allies with wisdom and empathy even when facing the abyss.
Sigfra – HuntressAn elven master archer and member of the Alskatel Sentinel — the elite force charged with guarding the elven borders. Watchful and pragmatic, Sigfra patrols the shadows of the Dark Forest, where danger hides among the branches and only the keenest eyes survive.
Leora – MonkChampion of the Floating Isles of Drakhal, a sacred land south of Alskatel. Forged through rites of absolute discipline, Leora masters an ancient spiritual path that unites body, mind, and magical essence. Her mission is sacred: to uphold the seal that prevents the spread of the ancient curse known as Black Ice — a duty that demands strength, sacrifice, and unwavering conviction.

I loved it until I found a gamebreaking bug. I "accidently" fought one of the guards... so I went back to my save... I load it and I'm still being attacked by Guards. Went back the furthest Save and was still being attacked by Guards. There are a lot of great things here but the game is buggy and there's some inventory jank. You can see what I mean on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/@4Itchy4EVER There's a LOT of potential here but right now it needs a lot of time in the oven. I will definitely keep my eye out on the updates.

Decent setting and lore. Great levelling and skill mechanics. Strong gameplay, reminds me of Legend of Mana just much faster paced. Top tier music score. Solid 8/10
