One of these games I need a "neither recommend nor do not recommend"-button for. If I had the skill & patience to make a Zelda clone something like this would probably be my goal too - I love the Zelda games, especially Link's Awakening and I'm always searching for good games, that are slightly similar to that experience, but in an own creative way. You can see the game was created with a lot of love for the world and the characters. Also I love when there's a lot to find in the world, so many side quests and extra skills! I really thought about hitting the "do not recommend"-button though, because there's a few bugs and partly the controls are frustrating - I've read in other reviews that this is just when you play with controller, so it might be that. Part of what I didn't like: - Sometimes you get stuck in NPCs - Sometimes mechanics do not react in the first moment. At least one time I had to restart after solving a puzzle, because nothing happened when I did everything right. - If you stay next to a body of water and move just slightly wrong, Tilia will just jump into the water, bye bye! It becomes really frustrating in the dungeon that's made of palettes, floating in the…2 found this helpful
Game is currently unplayable with a controller. Can't map keys either. Seems the controllers are mapping as keyboards for this game and is having strange behavior.1 found this helpful
great game !!
A Charming Zelda-Like Adventure
I'm a bit torn on Ocean's Heart. Throughout my adventure, I enjoyed exploring its world, completing side quests, and progressing through its dungeons. However, once the game was over, very little of it really stayed with me. That's probably the best way to summarize the game: it's not a bad game at all, but it never quite finds that special spark that turns a decent adventure into a memorable one. Fans of classic Zelda-like games will immediately feel at home. The inspiration from A Link to the Past is obvious, from the top-down exploration to the dungeon structure and item-based progression. Combined with pleasant pixel art, a charming world, and a solid soundtrack, Ocean's Heart manages to capture some of the feeling of old-school action-adventure games.

Exploration That Constantly Balances Reward and Frustration
One of the game's strongest aspects is exploration. The world contains several optional areas, hidden upgrades, side quests, and secrets waiting to be discovered. Exploration is usually rewarded, whether through heart containers, equipment upgrades, or optional …
very fun game. exploration an puzzles are reminiscent of of Zelda games. only gripe the controls on gamepad could use some work
