About Heart of Metal
In Heart of Metal, two players have to control one robot together, and the robot is in two parts. One player plays as a Gunner to shoot the enemy. Another is a pilot who controls the movement of the robot. The gunner and the pilot must work together to defeat their enemies. The Pilot tells the gunner about the enemy location and when to dodge enemy bullets. And the Gunner can tell the pilot where the target is.
There are 6 different mecha body parts in the game, player can choose any one of them and combine with their teammate to join the game.

You can use complex strategies by choosing various skills before entering the game. There are 5 skill trees in the game. By using different skills, you can choose to attack aggressively with your teammate or use “detach” skills to fight alone.

You can get different powerups, equipment, and weapons in the game. Use different items will give you advantages or even help you win the game. Be careful, your enemy also can pick up those items.

Heart of Metal is a free to play early access third person PvP arena vehicle shooter where you control multiplayer giant robots. Players can choose to be pilot or gunner, so the game requires teamwork to play. There's some okay concepts here but the delivery is highly lacklustre, with poor quality graphics, a clunky interface, and of course, no players. For a multiplayer only game, that's a death sentence. This looks and feels like a pre-alpha, it's just too hard to tell if the game is going to go anywhere as it's only been in early access for a couple of months at this stage. While it's free, and that's good, the game is just too unfinished right now, and with no other players, it's unplayable, so I can't recommend this right now, even as a demo. If you're interested in this kind of game, Mechwarrior Online is on Steam and also free, and that's highly polished and thoroughly enjoyable.2 found this helpful

Игра 'Heart of Metal' – это взрывная смесь ритм-игры и рогалика. Ты управляешь хэдбэнгером, прокладывающим путь через адские легионы под аккомпанемент убойного метал-саундтрека. Геймплей затягивает с первых секунд: держи ритм, уклоняйся от атак и обрушивай смертоносные комбо на врагов. Что цепляет больше всего, так это постоянное ощущение прогресса. Каждая пробежка приносит новые улучшения, открывает новые способности и оружие, что подстёгивает возвращаться снова и снова. Музыкальное сопровождение – выше всяких похвал! Треки подобраны идеально и прекрасно синхронизированы с происходящим на экране, усиливая драйв и погружение. Сложность игры достаточно высокая, придётся попотеть, чтобы добраться до финального босса, но это только добавляет азарта. Визуальный стиль хоть и пиксельный, но очень сочный и стильный, а анимации персонажей и врагов выполнены на отличном уровне. Если вы любите ритм-игры, рогалики и, конечно же, метал, то 'Heart of Metal' – это обязательная игра в вашу коллекцию! Рекомендую всем, кто ищет динамичный и увлекательный геймплей, сдобренный тоннами металла.
