Generic shooter with horrible audio mixing, can't pick up guns, multiplayer doesnt work, ammo is finite and looted from corpses. The soundtrack is pretty awesome though.

PEAK 10/10 YESS 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑 i love it when you deal any damage to buildings and it just explodes for no reason and aggressively spreads your eardrums and pumps them full of a sound equivalent to eating sharpened used heroin needles because the audio balancing is horrible in this game :steamhappy:

Metal Strike is a straightforward cooperative shooter that I found enjoyable mainly because it does not waste much time before putting me into the action. The setting is a post apocalyptic Earth where humanity has been forced away from the planet by hostile artificial intelligence, and I return with a small group to try to reclaim it. I liked the basic setup because it gives the simple shooting gameplay a clear purpose. The combat is built around third person shooting and fighting mechanized monsters across the campaign stages. I can choose between several different guns, and the basic controls make movement and shooting easy to understand. I enjoyed the straightforward approach because the game feels more like a compact action experience than a complicated tactical shooter. Cooperation is where I think Metal Strike becomes more interesting. Up to a small group can play together, and reviving fallen teammates becomes especially important when the difficulty starts getting higher. I liked that the cooperative system is not just an optional extra. Working together can genuinely make difficult sections more manageable. bad 1. blue mannequin 2. dumbass doesnt reload when out of ammo and instead just shakes the gun 3. cant reload while moving 4. cant pick up guns or more ammo 5. horrible main menu 6. no settings options (except for res and sound??) 7. enemies get stuck on stuff like trees 8. team name system is bugged 9. forced fullscreen (i hate this.) 10. i want a refund for this and it was free. 1/10 - i would give it 0/10 but the guns actually work and thats the only thing good about the game
