Hell's High Harmonizers

Despite the name, this isn't a dark game. It's whimsical and cute. If you sort of like RPGs but get bored of how long the battles and wandering around takes, this offers an RPG where you are mainly setting up the characters equipment, managing their stats and sending them out to explore, which takes a few seconds each time. As well, there is a lot of character based dialogue and detailed rooms to enter with strange people and creatures in them. Finishing the main quest took around 6 hours. There's some more content and more characters have been unlocked. Hard to say if it will continue to be fun past this point but I'm enjoyed the hours I've spent on it so far. I couldn't figure out how to do a few things, such as giving gifts and consuming book scraps for stat upgrades. I like the character designs and how they are kind of detailed but also vague looking. The English is sometimes non-idiomatic but I would not consider this a negative, the language used is quite charming and expressive. Plain English would miss something of this nuance. This game is a quirky and chill life simulation game set in the realm of Hell. There are auto-exploration sequences a bit like an idle game, level-ups and equipment, but the main object of the game is to talk to the unique residents of the world and interact with them. The monochrome visuals and music are also extremely stylish. Overall it's an experience that bleeds charm. I've come across some minor hiccups with the language, but they have been fixed in newer updates.

This game is a very quirky and relaxing time-killer where you manage a team of adventurers and send them on their merry way to complete quests and clear out dungeons. Since the game is about managing and training a bunch of characters, you don't actually get to see the dungeons or take part in any fighting, but there's a lot of casual interaction and a sense of progress as you unlock new areas. The game offers a very unique look into the workings of Hell and it's cute citizens. It's a strange concept, but experience was satisfactory and the price isn't too bad so it's a thumb's up from me. The game is still in Early Access, but I didn't encounter any bugs or glitches. The English translation is a little awkward at times, but it's not a game breaking issue.

Extremely charming, relaxing, level-grinding fun. You create an avatar from many disparate options and join your fellow Harmonizing co-workers in Hell- a very chill, stylish, monochrome Hell with lots of varied characters to interact with- in order to maintain peace and (relative) quiet. New characters appear, new levels with shops, break rooms, taverns, training areas, and labs are unlocked the longer you play, and new pieces of your overarching quest are revealed the further you go.

Simple, but a lot of moving parts, some of which may not mean anything but maybe they will? Creepy, but pleasant. A good sense of humour, but not wacky. An enjoyable time-kill.

A strange little game with a pace very reminiscent of The Oregon Trail. You, as a rookie Harmonizer, must police hell and help the general populace by exploring, imprisoning rebels and retrieving items from ruins. Setup your three person team and send them out into different areas of hell. As you discover more of hell you open more options and areas. The game has a weird darkly comedic atmosphere that is mostly light but with some dark undertones. The pixel art is good with the black and white dark colour scheme complimenting the game's tone well. The character creator is fun and you can customise your character at any time during gameplay. With some strange characters, mysteries to investigate and plenty of content Hell's High Harmonizer is an interesting game and I can't wait to see how it evolves.
