Henry Halfhead is a bit of a weird experience. If I had played it by myself as an adult, I don't think I would have felt it was worth the asking price. However, if you have a young child to play split-screen with, as I did, I would recommend it. The story is serviceable. You control Henry as he grows from a baby into an old man, eventually reaching the end of his life and moving on to the afterlife. Along the way, the game emphasizes the importance of holding onto childhood memories, the objects we attach meaning to, and the value of never completely losing your sense of play. The core mechanic revolves around possessing everyday household objects and using them to interact with the world. It's a clever, creative idea that leads to plenty of amusing moments. As an adult, I found the novelty started to wear off during the second half of the game. Once I had mastered the mechanics, progressing through the puzzles became more routine, and I think the experience would have felt like a bit of a slog if I had been playing alone.
