📝 The new areas are more varied and beautiful, and the improved graphics make the world feel more alive. ➕ Pros The new slimes are a great addition, and discovering them makes the world more interesting. The atmosphere feels more immersive. Being able to place new decorations and other objects around the ranch is also a nice addition. The music and sound effects fit the relaxing atmosphere really well. ❌ Cons I still think adding a co-op feature would make the game even better. Some puzzles require specific Plorts to unlock new areas, and having to go back and find a specific Plort can be a little frustrating. ⭐ Final Verdict: 9/10

Great game. I'd say it's a slight improvement compared to the first. However, I personally miss when we could join the ranch of the other NPCs. In fact, they were rather lacking in this game. You could remove them and the game would still be the same. This might be me viewing the first with rose tinted lenses, but I feel as if the first game had more content. Nonetheless, the game makes it up by encouraging the player to explore around the world and collect treasures and resources. As someone who loves to 100% games, It heavily motivated me to explore every nook and cranny. There's also new slimes, and the drones are also different now compared to the first, automating even resource collection which is necessary in late game. It took a while for me to complete the game because of the RNG when it came to getting the last slime toy for the Slimepedia. I really wish slime toys weren't locked in the 12'o Clock shop. I really enjoyed every aspect of the game, except for the one I previously mentioned. Again, it's a solid game just like the first.
