Herogue is a roguelike with turn-based combat where you control a team of four characters as you progress through a branching map. The game has a bright hand-drawn visual style and unique character designs. There are 14 heroes available, so you can try different team compositions and find effective combinations. Each character has unique skills that can be upgraded using experience coins earned after battles (you choose one of three skills to unlock). One of the game features is the ability to have backup characters and freely swap them during combat. You can also reposition your heroes on the battlefield, which can significantly impact the outcome of battles. At first, the game might feel a bit confusing, but the basic rules are easy to learn. After a few runs, the gameplay becomes much clearer and more enjoyable. Awesome roguelike turn-based battler with super intricate mechanics. If you like figuring out how to combine the skills of multiple teammates and enjoy turn-based battles, this game's for you.

Very fun game! A lot of fun heroes, each with some quirk that will require some gameplay loop changes, and payoff depending on the teammates. It has the break-game-by-somehow design, which I really like. Basically, later in the game, it's mostly required that you find a way to somehow break the "regular" power level and combo to extreme amounts.

Game is fun the difficulty is really in trying to figure out what characters to use and how to build up your team, thew exp coin thing is an interesting idea but it makes it very difficult to build your team by the time you hit the end boss, and the end bosses are a little too difficult.

Great game for 5€. For 15€ it should have better translations, fewer bugs, and much better balancing.
