Hidden Ghost Town 2

So bugged I can almost see cockroaches crawling out of the code.

Hidden Ghost Town 2, developed by Hede and HEDE Game Engine and published by Hede, is a casual hidden-object puzzle game that continues the developer’s pattern of releasing simple visual search titles on Steam. Built around a straightforward concept, the game places players inside a deserted ghost town environment and challenges them to locate a large number of hidden items scattered throughout the scene. Instead of delivering a narrative-driven adventure or complex puzzle mechanics, the experience focuses almost entirely on observation and patience, encouraging players to carefully scan the environment and uncover objects that are cleverly blended into the background. The central gameplay loop revolves around searching for items hidden across a detailed map. As much as the concept is cute and simple, it isn't worth the full price. Some images that you click on that look EXACTLY the same as the thing you are looking for aren't accepted as the right thing to click on since it will ask you to click on them later, making it an extremely frustrating game if you are trying to play it to relax. TL:DR Great concept, horribly executed.

This is a pointless game to play as you will never gain all the finds necessary for completion or for gaining the steam achievements because the game resets or ends before the game is done. If there is some sort of timer employed there is no visual indication of that. the controls are difficult with a mouse and an added issue is that the items in the object box are often too dark to see or are a different colour or shape to what is actually found. In short this game as with all Hede Games is flawed and should never have been placed on the steam platform in its present state. Even euphemistically saying its early access would not exonerate it from all the issues it is plagued with at this point in time. It needs so much more time in development before it is offered to the public in my opinion.
