great bundle pack . hours of fun
Got this years ago and finally got around to playing it. If you're a novice hidden objects person, you might consider avoiding it. If you're an [i]experience[/i] player of these kinds of games, you'll probably also want to avoid it.. probably cause you've played far, far better games. Although several games did impress me, they're not without their problems holding them back from really shining. The Lake House is the Standard Edition, so you're missing the vital epilogue chapter. Kronville, while starting off strong nonetheless suffers in the form of inconsistent storytelling and how the voice acting [b]completely[/b] vanished after a while. Not only does a key character completely vanish later, but you'll hear the same music in a lot of cutscenes. Finally there's Panopticon. There is solid voice acting, the visuals are quite impressive, and puzzles / hidden object scenes are decent enough. Unfortunately, the story is all over the place and feels equal parts convenient & convoluted. That could just be me, of course. Now, the lack of the Collector's Edition of Lake House is pretty damning, cause it certainly exists over at Big Fish Games. However, the issue with Kronville i…
keeps interest
Well I am on the 2nd game and they are both enjoyable using your detective skills and puzzle solving abilities, which you can skip if need be. They have their own stories and you uncover more as you play along. This is great fun and mentally stimulating.
