The game has fantastic ideas, but it lacks enough variety for gameplay to be interesting for long periods of time, as well as a lack of quality of life improvements. Overall a very disappointing product for a promising idea.

Relaxing game in which you can gather resources and experiment with potions. You take on the role of a potion maker who lives in a little hut by the beach. The garden where you grow your plants, the well where you acquire water for your plants and your cauldron, and the docks where you receive messages and buy stuff are the only things of interest. The rest of the island is primarily made up of trees and flowers, however there are a few secret areas. The game's theme is freedom. The tutorial teaches you the basic technique of crafting potions and provides you with a single component. Everything else must be discovered through exploration and experimentation. This includes putting your potion to the test and experiencing temporary consequences. Ingredients are written down in your notepad. However, the game will not help you because you will have to write down the effects and combinations by yourself. Plants provide the majority of the essential components. You get the ingredient and seeds that can be planted once gathered, so you don't have to go looking for them. Because some plants can defend themselves, you must create the appropriate potion to knock them out. Modifiers such …

I bought this game when it was 75% off, but honestly I'm having a blast, and I'd say it's worth it full price too. The world is surprisingly big, and the variety of plants is nice, too. there's a shop where you can buy items like a second bucket and a teleport that sends you home (very useful to explore into the darkness without worrying about getting home in time). I've not encountered decorations or furniture yet, but I'm hoping there is some of that too because the house is quite a bit barren at the start. All in all a decent game with gorgeous environments, different biomes and a decently sized world to explore.

Was a novel idea when it first became available on steam. Unfortunately i have never seen any changes made to game play by the creator and the music doesn't fit the theme of the game. Unable to make any real changes to the home is sad. The well is too far from the house which is OK at first i get what the developer is going for but it is annoying when you have hours 7 hrs into the game. The game has two phases of the day very bright and dark no real twilight. I really wanted to see some progress made anywhere but the game just needs more of everything. No updates come out for the game as far as i can tell. The different climate zones feel unpolished not much in them. The forest don't feel magical if you are on and island that is for the most part undisturbed the place would have should feel wild and enchanted. It has about every climate zone available all smashed on top of each other a little odd but fine but no caves, and no swamps. The game could use something to simulate weather even a little snow or rain would go a long way not much immersion there is snow on the ground but it is not snowing in the game.
