Himno – The Silent Melody, developed by David Moralejo Sánchez and published by GrabTheGames and UpgradePoint, is an ambitious evolution of the original Himno’s tranquil exploration formula, transforming what was once a largely meditative platformer into a more complex blend of roguelite progression, survival elements, and light base-building. While it retains the series’ signature sense of isolation and quiet wonder, this sequel introduces structure, danger, and purpose, resulting in a game that feels far more demanding without completely abandoning its atmospheric roots. It is a title that asks players not only to explore, but to endure, adapt, and gradually uncover meaning within a world that rarely explains itself. From the beginning, the game embraces a hands-off approach to design, offering minimal guidance and leaving players to discover its systems organically. You step into the role of Fash, a guardian-like figure navigating a fractured, corrupted landscape, but the narrative unfolds indirectly through fragments, environmental cues, and gradual realization rather than explicit storytelling. Yeah as many people has mentioned this game had potential but sadly it was abandoned. Bought this without realizing it was in early access (I have to be more mindful in the future) Do not recommend to buy.
Love it, simply amazing.
Abandoned by dev. He's not homeless, or in a trench in Ukraine, he just hasn't touched it while his other game gets updates.
I came from the first version of this game, and I was already in love with the idea, I have fully 100% that game and I intend to eventually do that with this one. I really hope that this game gets another update, as It is really fun and I hope to see it grow, but as it stands now it is abandoned by the devs sadly and it's not currently worth the 12 bucks its set for if it's not going to continue growing.
Broke the game from the tutorial where it told me to use the return to checkpoint thing without giving me a checkpoint. It only got worse from there, breaking it repeatedly until I got to the first area boss the 2nd time and suddenly he was spamming 5 new attacks at once. This just isn't fun when so many things are breaking in a wanna-be-rogue-like game.
