Hit of Chernobyl is a Survival FPS. The action takes place in the Zone, which was heavily contaminated after a mysterious disaster. Many years later, various marauders, journalists and just adventurers began to illegally enter the Zone. These people began to create organized groups for forays deep into the Zone. Many of them disappeared without a trace, and some lucky ones returned with unique artifacts. The main character is one of these adventurers.

So what is this game? This game is basically the Temu Version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., and while I say that as a joke, it's not entirely a joke. I'm actually a Veteran of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games and can tell you right off the bat, the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are impressive open world adventure games in an AU Ukraine where you explore the exclusion zone that's gone through a second Chernobyl incident that's created reality bending anomalies and monstrous creatures that roam the zone all while various factions explore, patrol, extort and steal from each other in an unforgiving environment. If you've played the games, you'll know that it's got that familiar "Slavic Jank" where your game will crash for no reason due to the dated engine, or you'll end up dying for seemingly no reason other than you stepped off of a 1cm platform and the game thought your were falling at terminal velocity. The games are also unforgivably hard and are enough to make even a Veteran like me walk away for a few days from getting upset. So what this game does is try to recreate the gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and for the most part does a decent job at it. Game does not work! When I start I am in a room that is spinning in circles and I am unable to play the game. I have no controllers connected, only the mouse. Looks like it could be an ok game if I could play it.3 found this helpful
