About HOLEHOLE
"HOLEHOLE" is an adventure game where players collect scattered objects on the map, engage in conversations and assist residents, and prepare for the next exploration by performing various actions.
One day, the player accidentally falls into a certain hole and freely explores the dungeon to find objects and search for residents. However, it is also a player's choice to not engage in exploration.
Even inside this hole, there is no specific purpose to each day.
Progress through a combination of visual novel-style storytelling and interactions with residents.
There are no markers for objects or quests, allowing players to freely play as they wish.
There are few pressured tasks, allowing for a relaxed gameplay experience.

[b]Slight spoilers![/b] [h1]Short Review[/h1] HOLEHOLE is an unfinished game, but not in a bad way. It's a story about an unfinished life, one ended early, told through the eyes of someone left behind, and the game's rough, meaningless, repetitive loop of a gameplay experience actually complements that message rather than working against it. Lu isn't exactly known for riveting gameplay, and normally that's a knock against a game, but here it works in the story's favor. Just know going in that the gameplay itself is kind of a slog, but the payoff is worth it, and you don't need to talk to every single character to get there. [h1]Full Review[/h1] HOLEHOLE has you falling into a hole and freely exploring a small, looping world, collecting objects, chatting with residents, and generally poking around at your own pace. Going in, I expected the usual Lu formula of minimal gameplay wrapped around an atmospheric, slightly melancholic story, and that's mostly what I got, just with an interesting twist on how the gameplay itself ties into the message. 100% Completion Review: Another charming LuuuLuuuL classic. These games tend to be cryptic but once you get all the endings, you begin to understand what it means. This game was pretty fun even though it was a little repetitive, although I guess most Lu games are. Don't be tricked by the big breasts on the steam page, almost every Lu game has that, but they tend to be emotional story driven games.
I won't lie, the pacing is a little weird, depending on how much you try to interact with everyone in between each Hole But the story here really got me. I think I could've played it a bit faster and enjoyed it more, but as it was, I did feel emotionally moved by the story and it's ending
