Home is an independent narrative experience developed and published by Mr.Spoon, blending visual novel storytelling, rhythm gameplay, and musical presentation into a small but emotionally driven adventure. Rather than aiming for large-scale mechanics or expansive exploration systems, the game chooses a quieter direction, focusing on personal struggles, difficult circumstances, and the search for belonging. Built around emotional storytelling and interactive music systems, Home creates an experience that feels intimate and reflective while exploring themes that are often difficult but deeply human. The story centers on a young boy who leaves behind his previous life and begins surviving alone beneath a bridge. To get by, he turns to busking, using music as both a means of survival and personal expression. As days pass, he encounters unfamiliar faces, forms connections, and slowly reveals the circumstances that led him to leave home behind. The game presents its narrative carefully, allowing information to unfold naturally rather than immediately exposing every detail. This slower pacing creates curiosity while giving emotional moments greater weight. What makes Home stand out is h…

A short, but sweet experience. Just a nice story for you to get comfortable and watch, while still having enough "game" to not just be a movie. The rhythm game segments, while weird at first, grew on me. They felt pretty unique. The acoustic music was also really nice to listen to. Only thing I would really want is a way to replay songs in-game for ranks, since it feels weird that there isn't an option to do so. Overall, it's a pretty solid experience. If you're looking for something with more gameplay than story, this isn't for you. But if you don't, I'm sure you'll like this game.

This game is so amazing! The feelings and experiences the dev put into it are amazing! I never review games but this was just too good to not leave a review in hopes it will convince someone to buy it and try for themselves. I'm going to play this game a million times over just for the music and another 10 million for the story that it tells. The ending got my eyes filled with tears. Thank you Dev for making me feel at 'Home' with your game and story. You truly did such a wonderful job! I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Thanks for a masterpiece / my game of the year!
