Good artwork arkanoid. Recommended!!!
HOT ASSES, developed and published by Kawaii, is a very straightforward arcade-style puzzle game that leans entirely on a familiar formula and a single, clearly defined reward loop. It takes inspiration from classic brick-breaking games, placing the player in control of a paddle that deflects a ball upward to clear layers of blocks. From the moment gameplay begins, it is clear that the experience is designed to be simple, immediate, and easy to understand, with no intention of expanding far beyond that foundation. The mechanics are as basic as they come. Movement is limited to horizontal control, and the primary objective is to keep the ball in play long enough to remove every block on the screen. The controls are responsive and predictable, allowing players to quickly settle into a rhythm. For short sessions, this simplicity works in the game’s favor, offering a low-effort way to engage with a familiar gameplay style. However, the lack of mechanical growth becomes apparent early on. There are no meaningful additions or variations introduced as the game progresses, and the core interaction remains unchanged from the first level to the last. What drives progression is not the game…
A very short game, worthy of a quickie. The main gameplay loop get's a bit slow, quite fast... Try to get it on sale and have a good little time playing with one hand if you know what I mean hehe ;) - Henry
