Hot Wheels Let's Race™: Ultimate Speed

Totally unplayable and absolute garbage. I tried on controller and KB/M and handling is way too sensitive. A child would find this frustrating, how did this possibly pass QA?

Bought for my little boy who is a fan of the series, he's 7 and excellent on BeamNG, Project Cars, Grid Legends, I mean REALLY he's IMPRESSIVE!! This game is not designed for anyone over 5 years old, I'm slightly ashamed of myself for getting him such a pathetic gift... He loves the hotwheels thing in all it's formats... perhaps I should now say LOVED. Whoever came up with the BOUNCY controls on this needs to play ANY other racing game and come back and fix their abysmal excuse for handling design, it may LOOK like the series but it doesn't even support our screen resolution, so we have to run it at HALF resolution?!?! I can dress a pig up to look like Marilyn Monroe (and so it seems can this team of devs!!), that doesn't make the pig attractive or worth wasting any money on!!! I won't be buying any more Hotwheels anything after this for a VERY long time, Well done on disenfranchising your target audience!

I think the programmers didn't put any effort into this game. The AI is ridiculous, the controls are clunky, and I'm surprised they released a Hot Wheels game limited to 60 fps. I think I can only congratulate the art team. The game looks good, and the look is very similar to the Netflix series.

oh dear i love racing games and i love the Hot Wheels games but this .... oh boy if this game had a demo it would never ever sell anything the handling is IMPOSSIBLE and nowhere you can adjust it or the sensitivity of your controller at all the camera may be the worst i have seen in a long time and nowhere you can adjust it the music is just 10 notes and on repeat constantly , elevator music is more thrilling the games AI is useless and i mean USELESS , and unreal chavvy win a race and you will see , the evil person actually congratulations you as if they were rooting for you .. i have played 40 mins and i am certain i have seen everything .. this game makes nickelodeon kart racers look like GTA 6 .....shame as i love the hot wheels games one positive is the visuals are great the track visuals are great overall has a good sega style look too it .. if you buy this for child turn on driving assistance , steering assistance and they prob would enjoy it as a button pressing game like autodrive on mobile but anything else is a waste of time at this point anything GameMill Entertainment makes is a red flag and a no buy unless for collecting not playing how too fix this g…

My son is a massive Hot Wheels Let's Race fan and he loves playing this with me. From a pure gameplay standpoint, it's not great. But it nails everything a kid would care about. It feels like playing through an episode of the show. And my kid loves that. We haven't had time to play through the whole thing yet, but I'd recommend this on sale, especially if you have young kids that love the show. If you're an adult buying this to play for yourself, well, it's not for you. It's for kids.
