Hotel Galactic

This is one of the sweetest game I ever played..! You can feel the care the original developers put into it. I'm more of a cyberpunk kind of genre guy, so this type of game is far from me, but give it a shot! I see time to time there are great improvements and of course I cannot emphasize enough how unique this little masterpiece is. Well done to the original creators!

I loved the demo and fell in love with the art style. However after buying the full game I instantly noticed that in game play, the controls are more clunky and not as nice as they were in the demo. I am 9 hours into game play and have already run into the issue of the story taking so long to play through that I can no longer expand and instead have to grind to unlock necessary things for expansion. Cooking seems to be the worst part of the game, staff will abandon cooking in the middle of the task, I constantly have to supervise them to make sure they do not wander off, even though I have already set them to prioritize cooking and ignore other distracting tasks such as gathering or construction. Cooking also takes forever, even if I float a staff to the kitchen to work on it right away guests are still waiting 50 minutes minimum for even just the simple recipes that just involve putting food on a plate. The aesthetic is so pretty that I do not want to cut all of the trees down to have an empty foreground. As a result there are not enough resources and I constantly need to keep an eye out for more trees to harvest since they take a long time to grow back. This is probably just a me…

Such a gem! You can tell it's made with a lot of love :) a few bugs and things that could be improved but nothing game breaking. I can't stop playing! It's early access and there's already soo much content to unlock, I'm positive it will only get better.

I like this it gives me studio Ghibli vibes in the best way.

Fun!!!! a little bit grindy or teadious sometimes. Wish some of the crafting took a little less time and the kitchen staff was a bit faster I keep getting complaints that its too slow but its an otherwise fun game lots of heart! This is not fully a gripe but somthing that could be lifter, the cutscenes look very stillted and for me its hard to get atatched to the npcs. maybe pay an animator and make the cutscenes animated would really elivate this game to a whole new level. Ignore my typos im not english n dyletic but I love this game n would love to see it be even better.

Was a bit slow at the beginning, but getting more and more fun as it goes.
