A downright fantastic game in every aspect! You can tell that the visuals have so much heart put into them. The many, many character designs are varied and lively with lovely little additions befitting of the character and the backgrounds have adorable details that make you want to examine them closely. The music and sound effects are nothing to scoff at either, they are unique and memorable. Additionally they are utilized very well, I haven’t encountered any scene where the music didn’t fit. Included in the soundtrack are some fun tunes and one of the antagonists has a really great theme. All the presentational aspects aside the writing is a lot of fun and overall good. I had a smile on my face all throughout the lighthearted and fun and sometimes even silly interaction, tears in my eyes during the more emotional moments and downright chills at times I don’t want to spoil. Myriad Hotel deserves all the recognition that it can receive. Just from the prologue you can tell how much time and effort went into this game. The story is expertly written, alongside all of the characters that it includes. It's writing has understanding of the games own atmosphere and acknowledges that, giving it the ability to truly connect with the player. I felt as though I was a part of the world, not in a common sense of superimposing myself onto who you play as, but in a way that made me feel connected to each aspect of this game. Which was helped immensely by the visuals. In this visual novel, the visuals are truly novel. Each character is so unique in their own ways, with so much detail and attention too in all of their designs. It's truly impressive given the amount of characters within' the game. This of course isn't even touching on the backgrounds. From the areas of the hotel, to the locations visited in by the hotel itself and through characters story quests, there's just so much. Truly stellar scenery, drawn expertly with little details and hidden things for the player to find. It's easy to tell a lot of time a effort was devoted to this portion of the game, so the…3 found this helpful
