The storyline for such a short game is rly good and interesting and It’s perfect game for autumn evenings. I rly like this mysterious and psychological vibe. It’s not that difficult to solve what u have to do but at the same time still not too obvious. You can also explore rooms in peace and u don’t have to rush the gameplay. The ending is unexpected and it was a nice surprise for me. Hacking was thought sometimes, especially when u miss few times in a row but when u get used to it then it’s all right. ♡

A simple but effective indie hacking sim. Pros: * Good UI, overall. * Simple but effective level design. * Retrying a hack is fast and there's infinite retries. Cons: * Opening the terminal obscures the screen - including displayed IPs. They're short though, so not hard to remember. Meh: * Hacking is simple ("hack XX.XXXX", then you're a dot that's dodging other dots for ~19 sec). * Once a device is hacked, all you do is connect then open files - so, it's simplistic. TL;DR: If you want an ultra-quick hacking sim, it's worth playing; else, skip.

The game styled after the PS1 era captivates with its characteristic, slightly “jagged” 3D graphics and the atmosphere of early polygonal titles. It combines the nostalgic clunkiness of late-’90s classics with modern smoothness and creativity, creating a surprisingly satisfying experience.

I enjoyed the bite-sized game. Good writing, intriguing setup, the setting is great. the controls are bit gummy, needs a mouse sensitivity slider, and the hacking minigame was harder than i would have preferred, but those are pet peeves.

this game needs more variety in the hacking mini games, and honestly seems buggy i couldnt even make it out of the first apartment with the dude and his biochip, not enough discussion on the game to see if anyones progressed past this point or not

The game tells you "♥♥♥♥ you" when you press tab during cutscenes. Was browsing by recent earlier in the month when this game caught my eye. Finally bought it and I do certainly have thoughts. 42 minutes was how long the game took outside of "figuring out" the """"""secret""""" ending. I very much enjoyed the foundation set here but unfortunately there is a lot of issues with the game. I wish I could've liked it more, I guess. The story is pretty lackluster and so is the puzzle solving. For the few moments that there are any forms of "solving", the game basically gives away the answer in the form of a cutscene and the "hint.txt files". The cutscene just zooms in on what she's talking about instead of letting the player remember which really isn't needed due to how short the game is. More refinement of the ui could've been used and the game fights hard to keep the hacking minigame from messing with the console whenever you press the up arrow to fire upwards. The biggest issue is that the story ends EXTREMELY ABRUPTLY. There are two endings but neither explain much and I think the trigger for the second one is just [spoiler]doing the cutscene again? It triggered the "Doctor ending" …
