About Hyperspaced
Hyperspaced is a chaotic co-op space action game for 1-4 players. Working as a team, you and your fellow Space Cadets must save the Multiverse from collapsing. Slide into the pilot’s seat, operate turrets, become a mechanic or even a janitor on your quest to find the culprit who disturbed the balance of the Multiverse.
THE MULTIVERSE IS IN DANGER
The Multiverse is in danger! Some wacko stole multiple Great Plugs, which are items of great importance that bind the many universes together. Without the plugs, anyone can traverse the different galaxies via a series of pipes. However, if the pipes are left open, the plug-less galaxy will slowly die and disappear.
S.H.E.L.D.O.N., your sassy on-board A.I. guides you on your quest to find the thief and bring back balance to the Multiverse! Along the way, you may meet a bunch of other intergalactic travellers in dire need of help. A mysterious drone, an odd hermit, a merchant space octopus... and cats?!
Helping them is up to you; who knows, they might join your perilous adventure.
LIFE ON BOARD
Fresh out of the Space Academy, you or a team of up to 4 Space Cadets must pilot, shoot turrets, extinguish fires, clean up, repair, recycle and re-enforce your ship with upgrades while swarms of enemies bombard you with vicious attacks.
With an inner and outer split-screen view of the ship, multitasking, and good teamwork are key to success and crucial in the hardest difficulties.
EVERY RUN IS UNIQUE FOR INFINITE FUN
The Multiverse in Hyperspaced is procedurally generated, making every run unique! Regardless of whether or not you choose to try out a new spacecraft or module, it will always be a brand-new adventure.
UNLOCK NEW VESSELS
A variety of abandoned ships lie scattered around the Multiverse. Repair them to their former glory and get ready for a whole new ride as each offers distinctly different play styles for your crew! Some vessels are larger with more module slots and cargo space. Others are smaller, faster, and more agile, but offer fewer slots and cargo space.
DISCOVER NEW MODULES
Find and unlock new modules and discover crazy new weapons, defences, and other tools. Upgrade them from your hub and prepare your ship for epic boss battles!
But most importantly, don’t forget to pet Scrappy! He is always hungry and will convert any item or junk you feed him into scraps that can be used to buy things while you are on a mission.
HOW TO PLAY WITH CREWMATES FROM ANOTHER GALAXY
- With Parsec: Parsec is an external tool used to stream your computer screen to your mates, while they can use their own controllers for the game. It’s an easy way to play with your friends! (Fun fact: We even used it while developing the game from the home office!)
1. Open Parsec. You’ll all need your own account.
2. Add your friends to your friends list.
3. Your friends can now see your computer and ask for permission to join!
4. Start your game on Steam and let the fun begin! - With Steam Remote Play Together: Steam Remote Play Together streams your game and doesn’t require any external tool.

2. Open “Hyperspaced”.
3. Two options:
- Open the Steam Overlay (Ctrl+Shift), right click on your friend’s name in the friends list and select “Invite to Remote Play together”.
- In the pause menu of “Hyperspaced”, select “Invite Friends” and select them from your friends list.

It's borderline, but I cannot recommend this when Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime exists, which is superior in every aspect. Sorry. The players stuck piloting has very little gameplay variation (unlike lovers with the different engine types). Some enemies feel impossible to dodge. You quickly get your ship full of modules and then the rest of the game feels more like finding side-grade with little gameplay impact. Ship upgrades are generic more damage, more health. The game doesn't heal at the end of a mission. But you can go back to base and then resume to get the heal. Waste of time.3 found this helpful
As a big fan of party style couch games, this one unfortunately got boring very quickly, even in co-op. Just to slow and didn't present interesting enough gameplay when compared to something like Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime or Catastronauts.2 found this helpful
Watching the chaos unfold as one tries to navigate through the minefields, the other defending against vessels chasing you, one trying to repair the damage with your ship burning and a broken window sucking out all the loot you desperately need for repairwork -- thats peak co-op fun. Love it. Its a fun and accessable couch coop game. Perfect for steamdeck docked or steam machine. They also nailed the drop in / drop out multiplayer. There is no main player in this game. Everyone can leave or join whenever he likes.
Have almost forgotten about this little gem. I enjoyed it in early access back then, and I still enjoy it now with the full version. The split-screen where you steer the ship and weapons, but also repair and manage the cargo and other things is absolutely unique and it rocks. I wouldn't be surprised if this system pops up in other games. This is a great chaotic couch coop game in the sprit of Overcooked, but in space of course. I'm giving this 3 extraterrestrial thumbs up!
