HyperZen Training

HyperZen Training is a free conceptual/experimental FPS that features procgen instead of proper level design, and minimalist low poly untextured vector "art" instead of contemporary PC video game graphics. Gameplay consists of shooting various low polygon objects and then exiting the level, rinse and repeat. This is barely a game, and as the developer admits in their description, it's experimental. I understand it's necessary for all game developers to experiment, but I don't understand what part of any experiment involves paying $100 to list an experimental demo on Steam and make it free. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. Игра 'HyperZen Training' – это глоток свежего воздуха в мире казуальных игр. С одной стороны, концепция проста и понятна: расслабляющие упражнения на внимательность и реакцию под медитативную музыку. С другой – она выполнена на удивление качественно. Графика минималистичная, но приятная глазу, не отвлекает от процесса. Интерфейс интуитивно понятен, осваиваешься моментально. Уровни умеренно сложные, прогрессия плавная, что позволяет постепенно улучшать навыки. Я ожидал, что игра быстро наскучит, но разнообразные упражнения и ненавязчивая система прогресса поддерживают интерес. Особенно понравилось, что игра не давит, не требует постоянного онлайна и не засыпает уведомлениями. Можно просто зайти на пару минут, отдохнуть и перезагрузиться. Из минусов – хотелось бы больше разнообразия в музыкальном сопровождении. Хотя треки приятные, со временем они начинают повторяться. В целом, 'HyperZen Training' – отличный способ расслабиться, улучшить концентрацию и просто приятно провести время. Рекомендую всем, кто ищет спокойную и медитативную игру.
