Winter softly weeps Duty walks through silent snow Hope outlives farewell

Normally I write my reviews at the end, after I've finished the game. This time I decided to note things as I played, but I have completed the game as of posting this review. This appears to be a snow level for the entire game. I've complained about games starting with 15 hour desert levels, but I like snow levels, so I kind of like this. It gives the whole world a connected, yet bleak feeling. Your characters even leave large trails in the snow. There are white sparkles to find that are can be difficult to see at times, though it's usually visible enough. The dialogue feels like it is just the concept and given to characters to say. It's so awkwardly worded and expository that I find it difficult to take seriously as dialogue. It almost feels like the characters are reciting the instructions that the devs had for those lines instead of anything conversational. I had heard that this was inspired by Chrono Trigger. So far, we have a silent protagonist and dual/triple techs, but the game feels a lot more like the plot of Final Fantasy X. Fantastic little JRPG. Beautiful music was a stand out for me

A fun traditional style RPG from Square Enix, could have been a little longer.

A crash and the camera keeps bugging and not centering after random dialogue moments.
