The brief was simple. I commissioned artists to create a fantasy world, and hide as many cats and wool as they can inside it. Now it’s your job to find them all! With 50 art pieces to choose from, you will have a lot of searching to do.
Use your mouse to move around the image and zoom in / out. When you find a cat or wool, click it and it will disappear. You can also use WASD to move and the arrow keys to zoom.
A full range of difficulty is included, but all levels start unlocked, your progress is saved as you play, and you can use hints if you get stuck.
Each painting has its own music to help you connect with the world, as you search for everything.
You can restore a small (or a large) number of hidden objects back randomly into a painting so you can find them again! It’s much harder when there are only a few hidden objects left. You can also use up to 6 save slots so you can replay without progress loss. Alternatively, you can reset your progress for the entire game if you’d like to start over.

I commissioned some cats 11 is part of a series of hidden object games by Follow the Fun where he pays artists to create artwork for them to then hide different objects in them. The main gameplay loop in this game is simple, yet effective, and you always feel a bit proud of yourself when you manage to finish an artwork. The artwork in the game is whimsical and sometimes a little odd, but overall, fits the game nicely. I cannot comment on the audio for this game since I usually play these types of games with either the sound and music muted, or without my headset, but I imagine that it took a lot of work to get 50 different pieces of music into this game. Normally, for a game of this series, there are 15-25 different artworks that you can play, but in this installment, there are 50 artworks for you to choose from. Herein comes the main problem that I have with this game: the price. While there are more levels than normal, the average level would take a player 5-10 minutes to solve, and even at the higher end of the spectrum, it would still only take 500 minutes to solve every artwork in this installment. That's just 9 hours, 40 minutes of content. The metric I alway…12 found this helpful

This is a larger than usual game featuring 50 new levels in the "I commissioned some cats" series. Each level maintains the usual high quality shown by this creator, though personally I found the number of levels a bit overwhelming for this sort of game. If you have played others in the series, this is a great way to pick up a large bundle of levels for great value. But if you haven't played any before, I'd recommend one of their smaller (15 level) games to get started. Interested in Hidden Object Games? I have about 40 of these games. The controls on this one are TERRIBLE. Needs a fix.
