About I dream of you and ice cream
I dream of you and ice cream is a game about imperialism, the loss of identity and personal sacrifice.

A sinister, doll-like entity has enslaved all mankind. Inside the complex where, every day, the entity questions world leaders about aspects of humanity - a potentially lethal process - an old scientist of unspecified gender is building a machine.

Clinging to a few precious memories, with each passing day the scientist gathers components and toils on their obscure project, as the clock ticks relentlessly towards a horrifying climax.

I dream of you and ice cream is a point-and-click adventure game with a very simple interface and an emphasis on puzzle solving. For every two puzzles solved, players are rewarded with a partial solution which can be used in another puzzle.
There are no spoken lines or written dialogue in the game: Everything is communicated through speech bubbles, symbols and emotions.

The next Toy Story movie.2 found this helpful
This i a short puzzle game with about 10 puzzles to finish in 2-3 hours. If you are familiar with logic puzzle, you won't have anything you can't overcome with a few minutes of thought each. What's kinda cool/cryptic is the overriding story that is at the same time easy to follow without language, weird, and occasionally funny. I bought for $5 and it's easily worth that for a combination of fun and satisfaction of a game finished.`2 found this helpful
made me talk to an npc
There is something undeniably compelling and haunting about this little game. It's one I keep thinking about from time to time, which more than I can say for 98% of games I've played. The dev has a masterful grasp of creating atmosphere and telling a story. This alone makes it worth your time. The main flaw, IMHO, is that the puzzles are nothing special and don't add anything other than something to do. They feel extraneous and I think the game would be stronger without them, but they don't detract from the story either.
I loved it
I already love another of the dev's games - Gleaner Heights - so I decided to give this a try. What a pleasant surprise! The puzzles are intriguing and challenging without being exceedingly difficult. The art is charming, and I particularly like how the language and story is conveyed through pictograms. While it is a shorter game, I think the price reflects that. Definitely recommended.
