I just build is a good game, it's lies are not. The basic premise is to build the dungeon with a limited budget as the demon lord in order to raise a hero strong enough to challenge you in end game. Every death contributes to more stats. Every dice roll contributes to more stats. Every fight allows the timeline to reset and improve the hero's stats. But there is no freedom. Not truly. Want to build a dungeon on your first try? You can. But choosing premade maps offers more Enemies, and in turn more exp. The rate isn't nearly 1:1, it is closer to 1:4, especially on a much later level where you cannot place enemies except by pre-making the dungeon. Want to try stoping the hero? That's easy. Use a treasure chest, the most powerful wall in the game that cannot be picked up. Want to spawn those goblin archers in the games screenshot? They don't exist. From beginning to end they never existed. "Spells are more powerful to handle stronger foes." Is true, the first 2 playthroughs. It is an absolute lie by the third, Attack in this game can easily breach 300 by your third attempt allowing you to excessively basic attack your way through the entire campaign. It's a basic jrpg dungeon crawler, but with a twist. You can create the dungeons yourself instead of just playing predone ones. I also like the permanent upgrade systems. You'll need around 6 hours to beat the game. Definitely worth the time imo :) 8 of 10
