About ICEBOX: Speedgunner
OVERVIEW
In the spirit of games like SEUM, DEADCORE, CLUSTERTRUCK and old-school DOOM, this game ain't for the faint of heart. Leaning on fast-paced FPS gameplay (ie. no cover-based hiding), ICEBOX raises the stakes by introducing speedrunning, 3D platforming and global Leaderboards. This game's for the toughest of players, not scared of taking on the monumental challenge of mastering the ICEBOX – and becoming the Ultimate Speedgunner.
Besides, we've equipped you with a bunch of special abilities and weapons to dominate the Sentinels and their Environment. Your GLITCH ability hands you an unfair advantage by manipulating time & gravity. You'll also receive assistance from an outside hacker – she'll guide you through the ICEBOX as you carve an ice-cool path, cutting corners, dodging obstacles and eliminating guards. And we've included a tutorial to help you master the basic mechanics.
So the challenge awaits, if you're up to it. A 20 level campaign, culminating in a battle against the Central AI. Or try one of the procedurally-generated marathon levels up to 100kms in length (including checkpoints). And we've provided other quick-game levels like “Hunter”, “Super-jump” and “Arena” to give you the opportunity at honing your skillz.
You'll probably die a lot. You may even want to quit or take a break, and that's ok, we won't judge you. In fact, we've got you covered – with Zen Mode! Play the game without enemies while listening to the game's dynamic soundtrack for the ultimate chill out.
This game is best played with a mouse/keyboard for hardcore precision, but it does also support Xbox 360 Controller.

ICEBOX speedgunner is a game with simplistic yet under the hood complex design. The mechanics for shooting and activating different doors to get your way through the level as fast as possible. This is a speed game that id mainly recommend to beginners who are looking at getting into speed games or potentially speed running. This also works as a game to compete with friends or a game to best the leader board in your spare time as it has an easy learning curve. If that sounds like a lot to you, you would be correct. This fast-paced game is intense right from the very start. You’re immediately thrown into the first level, pick up your first gun and then you’re off running. As you speed through the levels guards will shoot at you to try and stop you, shooting them before you take too much damage is the aim of the game. However, you are also on a time limit to get through the level, so speed is also vital to your success. The use of the ‘Glitch’ feature also adds another dimension to getting through the levels. Using ‘Glitch’ allows you to slow down time and correct your mistakes or maneuver past enemies, it is a handy tool to have as the speed of the game can often result in a lot of mistakes. The futuristic style of the levels is really pleasing to the eye, and the music creates a rather relaxing background sound that doesn’t distract from the level. I'm a speedrunner and came across this game in a facebook group. Now, I'm pretty bad at most shooters, so when this game was brought to my attention I ignored it, at first anyway. But then people started talking about it and how fun a speedgame it was and I decided I would give it a shot. I've only run the tutorial and first level so far but I'm pretty pumped to learn more about this game. So far it seems that the end goal is simply to go fast. There are enemies, and they have decent aim, but not godly, and not stormtrooper. It seems well balanced. The controls were a bit sticky for me at first, but there's a decent amount of options to make it run smoother and to each person's personal taste. Like most games, the graphics started out at the EPIC setting, but the game still ran decently enough for me to adjust it without having to wait an age and a day to be able to move the mouse(looking at you Fallout 4) Once you get into the main gameplay, it's pretty smooth. You get a gun, dunno how ammo really works as I focused more on Fast and less on Shoot, which this game lets you do. You can fight, or you can run. Or you can fight AND run. Very fun game. Controls are solid but you really gotta be careful. For 2USD its a fantastic deal and has a solid amount of hours in it. Lots of options to replay levels differently too. Graphics are not insane but like the game they are fast and with an older R9 390 I can push 120FPS on ultra no problem. It's an older game but definitely worth it in my opinion.
