Boring pacing. Pretty unengaging, even for an incremental.
Cheap game, simple mechanics, lots of fun & casual gameplay. If you like idle games, you'll like this one.

Great Idle Game
A visually interesting take on the idle/incremental game. Instead of very long-running continuous game improvement, Idle Colony is more about the individual "sessions" with different playstyle tactics to achieve the various goals of the game. Once reaching all the permanent upgrades, you basically get to chose various improvement options at will to try out various styles of gameplay for the each session. Instead of a single "best" path forward like many idler games, this one actually leaves you many options to accomplish the multiple achievements and completion of the game. My total playtime for full achievements could have definitely been improved drastically. For one example, I decided to push through one play session to go for the 'max fruit', and my build was not very well scaling beyond a certain point. Thus it took over 16 hours in one game session just to reach that point. Meanwhile, an alternate build on a later session saw me reaching the max fruit in roughly 2 hours... so definitely many alternate paths to take in how your colony is built on each session. I enjoyed it. --- 65.6hr / 100%
