Love the game, and any solitare genre. I liked the difficulty levels within it, however despite meeting the device requirements, the game has cause screen flickering issues within my hard drive that required the game to be uninstalled in order to fix and stop. I'd love to play the game but can't if it's causing screen flickering issues whenever it is installed :/3 found this helpful
Extremely solid version of spider solitaire with a bit more than you'd expect. The optional-to-use power ups can salvage an otherwise dead game to preserve a streak, soften frustration, especially if you don't play with undos. The backgrounds and cardbacks are pleasant and non-obtrusive, though it'd be perfect if I could use my own images. A lot of consideration with controls and options with support for keyboard, controller, and turning off auto-placement double clicks. It's also neat that you can watch or replay the rounds of others on the leader boards. The price feels like a steal even when there are innumerable but inferior free versions you could play instead.3 found this helpful
How do you fail to make solitaire? First off, the tutorial is poorly translated and illegible on two counts. 1: it makes no sense and 2: the resolution when you first start the game is set so ridiculous that you literally cannot read anything. I had to alt F4 to skip the tutorial and get to the settings. No idea what the weird creature was going to tell me. But given it's terrible attempts at communicating, I doubt it really matters. Course, you don't need a tutorial for spider solitaire, it's an RNG game with cards. So I set it to 4 suits, because quite frankly it's boring if it's any less... Except.... Unlike the old windows version, the odds seem heavily stacked against you. I played 9 games and didn't win a single one. I ran out of moves very quickly on all of them. I even, reluctantly, pressed the hint button to make sure... No moves. Now, Solitaire is notorious for being RNG heavy. For Klondike solitaire only roughly 80% of games are winnable, and that's if you play perfectly. But given that this is a steam version that costs money and has achievements... and worse yet, tells you if you're on a losing streak, thanks for that, really needed to be called a loser by a game …
