About Ignis Universia: Eternal Sisters Saga DX
The dread wizardess Galgatax has awoken yet again and it's up to you to find the Chosen Sisters and travel to the Hellfire Peak to defeat the monster that has been summoned. If you've read this far, you should probably just download the game. It's free, you know. Especially if you are a fan of, say, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger or Dragon Quest. Just saying.
- More locations you can count (with the fingers of one hand after a disfiguring accident)
- Deep engaging combat mechanics (for a three-year-old)
- Immersive and epic storyline and colourful characters (literally, they're not black & white)
- Just added this bullet point to make the list longer. It's not like anyone reads these, right?

Ignis Universia: Eternal Sisters Saga DX is more puzzle than RPG, and the way that it encapsulates that is part of the charm of it all. I don't think the battle system itself is particularly interesting beyond that aspect of solving for it's enemies and recruiting certain characters tho. Like, it's very clear you mostly need to recruit a new character in order to use their new abilities to win the next battle, and there really only being 2 battles near the end that you can actually differ in combat. Even then though, the majority of the game feels entirely taught to you to the point it doesn't feel any battle is really won through your strategy. This isn't a bad thing mind you, but it does make Ignis Universia more like a one trick pony. Like ya, you can go out and get different achievements that require certain luck or prediction, but ultimately the game is solved by brute trial and error. Again, that's the fun of it all, and makes the sauce that keeps this spaghetti hot. It's short enough that the trial and error is more fun then annoying, the writing is witty and charming, and ultimately it's just a silly game. Ignis Universia has a great aesthetic too, so it never really feels …
As a newbie developer, you've done a great job! I highly recommend playing it: it won't take long, but the cute story will brighten up a boring evening)
Great humour in this one!
I feel like I should probably like this game more than I do, but damn. I've played quite a few of these games where their charm carries them throughout, and I enjoyed almost all of them. This game on the other hand just didn't grab me the same way, leading to me feeling nothing but indifference throughout most of it. It's free, and assuming you don't go for achievements it's done it half a hour. I'd say give it a go, but just keep in mind the game might not grab you as much as you hoped.
Yikes! I'm going back through all of my old reviews, and I find this game to have none! (I try to review every Perfect Game) Well, it's been a very long time since I played this, but I do remember that this is an absolutely charming romp. The dialogue is quite good, and often funny. The combat was overall very easy, and probably there just to give you some "gameplay". But, it's a great adventure to read through and some of the locations are pretty unique!
