Go ahead and add this to your library. This is the most complete large scale space battle sim there has ever been. The friendly and enemy AI are competent, so player count doesn't really make a difference. If you have ever wanted a space combat sim where you can squad up with your buddies and fly missions in a huge living space battle, this is the one you're looking for. Supports in-game squad comms and control. Yes, you can fly a carrier and have 24 of your friends fly squadrons out of your hangar. The dev has been working away on this title, creating a truly amazing space combat sim, without any sort of marketing promotion. That's why you haven't heard of it before. From what I understand, when the game is closer to 1.0, media campaigns will begin and the players will start coming in. This will be a wonderful game for streamers, so I'm sure it will be popular eventually. The AI is great, so really there's no need to wait for other players. Works great with mouse + keyboard. HOTAS + Any sort of head/eye tracker = magnificent.

I originally bought this game back in 2019, tried it, and decided it needed more time to cook. Seven years later I booted it up again and I gotta say this game has a lot of things going for it, but I'd be lying if I wasn't a bit disappointed with the slow progress on development. It's hard for me to really hold that against the devs though because we're talking about a game that's been essentially programmed by one dude for the past like 15 years (probably more honestly). When that fact is understood this game really is a technical masterpiece that has been developed with very little resources. It's no secret this game suffers from extremely low player count, many say it's because of the price. I'd argue the problem runs a bit deeper. While the space battles are very fun, they really don't have anything to keep a player wanting to come back for more consistently. There are really no stakes in the battles, nothing that gives players something to fight for. Personally I think the game would really benefit from a persistent warfare type game mode similar to Foxhole, or something that pushes players towards cooperation and caring about the game in a deeper way than just cool space batt…

Very well made especially for a early access, harly any bugs and competitive AI equivalent to low-mid skill players. Still is fun with the limited content that it has.

your weapons die and your ship dies, weapons repair doesnt work so basically your ship is a siting duck doing nothing and thats in every much its boring and frustrating.

just not for me, clunky controls are weird, and headtracking is jank, hard pass
