You find yourself lost in the middle of nowhere. The only way to leave is to refuel your car. But to do so, you'll have to venture into this desolate forest to find a way to unlock the gas station. But, every bit of flesh in your body screams that you are not alone...
As you embark on your journey into the forest, you will be equipped with both a flashlight and a camera. The latter is indispensable for your expedition, as it can capture infrared light, revealing hidden entities beyond the reach of your naked eye. However, amidst these extraordinary phenomena, a malevolent entity lurks. This entity becomes increasingly hostile as you draw closer to discovering the way into his church. Unfortunately, your only chance of survival lies within his church. Therefore, the closer you get to opening the church's door, the more cautious you must become. Nonetheless, there are ways to slow down this entity, and furthermore, there are ways to eliminate it. It all depends on your determination and courage to discover them.
INFRARED is a survival horror first-person game with a PSX/PS1 style. The game doesn't save progress, which means you only have one chance to complete it, or you will have to restart from the beginning.
The game features three endings: a good ending, a bad ending, and a secret ending. We recommend setting aside one hour for each playthrough to achieve each of the endings and fully experience the entire game.
This game also adjusts certain graphical settings (frames per second) during gameplay to create a specific atmosphere.

"Infrared" is your usual amateur first person horror jumpscare adventure game, typically made with a bunch of flipped Unity/Unreal assets and little to no other imagination, innovation, or quality technical delivery. This one has you explore a spooky forest looking for a way to get into a spooky gas station to fuel up your car because apparently you don't know how a fuel gauge works. Believe it or not, I've seen worse premises for these horror jumpscare games. The game is really simple and unambitious in terms of implementation, more of a tech demo or one of those cases where an amateur developer spends $100 to publish something on Steam Direct to see if it's possible. Yes, obviously it's possible. A proof of concept, tech demo, or something that's less than a little blip on the radar isn't offering anything truly valuable to gamers. While these are usually just Digital Homicide style asset flips, I'm not sure if this is an asset flip. The assets look considerably worse than anything a genuine asset creator would publish. As always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the gam…

Slender like game. The concept with the infrared is interesting but the game gets boring and frustrating after some time. Playtime: ~ 1 hour Overall: 3 out of 10 It is for free, so you can give it a try. I wouldn't pay money for this one.
