In Into A Dream you wake up in a mysterious place devoid of all your memories and come upon a recording addressed to you. As you listen to it, you realize that your mind has been linked to the dreams of a Luke Williams, a man diagnosed with severe depression. You are Luke’s last hope and must prevent him from… fading away.
Delving deep into Luke’s dreams, where memories and symbols are blended together, you are expected to disclose the events and actions that have led Luke to his darkness. You will meet his close family and friends and must find ways to trick him into letting you access his darker dreams and unveil the emotional, powerful and heartbreaking journey of his life.
Luke's life is in your hands. You have to help him take the first step towards recovery; to make him see that his life matters… You are his last hope.

Although I am used to slow games and I usually appreciate introspective and sensitive narratives, I wasn't deeply involved in this game. The story is good and very relatable, so credible that I even shed a tear at the end, when we find out what happens in the future, but the dynamics are simply boring and stiff, I basically kept scrolling left and right spamming "interact" button hoping to grab objects that were sometimes too hidden or merged to the background to even notice. I fell asleep twice while playing and in the end I almost felt like it was a chore to finish it. It was still worth to see the ending, but it could have been a way more enjoyable experience, had it been a bit less static. Also, apart from 2/3 very good actors, the voice acting is incredibly poor and doesn't deliver at all, making it all even duller. It's sad, and it's a pity, because the story could have deserved a more polished and smooth gameplay. I don't feel like recommending it, it almost seems like a game that could be developed during a game jam. Sorry, don't mean to be cruel to the team, you can actually feel how much they cared about the script and the depth of some characters, but it's mainly shallow…1 found this helpful
Entertaining enough game play, beautiful art style. Interesting story with a strong twist towards the end. I really enjoyed it.

This game has a very interesting story. Simple movement, easy puzzles. Best game ever for meditation. CONS: - awful hero animations - stupid unnecesary jump platform mechanics with VERY BAD physics (luckily, very rare)
