IRIDESCENT (2024)

I highly recommend any game that features pressing F to fish. This is now tied for best magical moth rogue-like I have every played. Very solid for early access. There are some bugs, but nothing that really gets in the way of playing the game.

It's going in a good direction! It's fun to fly around and fight at the same time. Just needs a bit more to do, feels a bit barebones.

well-structured roguelite, if a little lacking in items and general content movement could feel a bit smoother decently fun game atm, really looking forward to the future of development also hi tim :)

I don't know what I was expecting. I don't know where I saw this game but it was on my wishlist. It's a Risk of Rain clone but it fails at its strengths. The character kits are lacking (e.g. Character 1 has 2 abilities). Dealing/Taking damage feels unresponsive, there's not much 'juice', and even the weak enemies are incredibly tanky for how many of them there are. For a combat focused game the combat wasn't fun. I like the take on a flight based roguelike, I guess. The items (from what I've seen) are boring. Stuff like "+10HP", "+50HP", 2 seperate items just for that. Whenever you open a chest you pick between items, but sometimes you'll just get the same choice twice (and the game doesn't pause, so if you don't speedread you will take damage). The Visuals are grating. Everything is far too saturated it gives me headache. And as stated I don't know when and from where I was taking damage. Shoulda just played the demo.
