IRIDESCENT is a vibrant eldritch roguelike where you soar through stylized areas and blast away waves of enemies as a moth! Restore balance to a crumbling world as you explore new locations, bolster yourself with items, and bring down colossal monstrosities.
TRAVERSE COLORFUL ENVIRONMENTS
Time is of the essence as you explore island clusters scattered throughout 3 handcrafted areas! With a timer counting down to the arrival of a boss, blast away enemies and unlock streams that quickly bring you to neighboring islands. As you delve deeper and fight new foes, uncover the eldritch being at the center of this madness.
COLLECT ITEMS AND CUSTOMIZE YOUR BUILD
Using the money gained from defeating enemies, unlock chests that provide a selection of items to choose from and customize your build. In between runs, fish for a chance at new items or trade with the Cat Traders for new upgrades. With 23 items and more on the way, players can enable and disable which items appear further customizing your experience.

Online multiplayer beta is out! We plan to continue to fix bugs and update co-op capabilities in future updates.

I highly recommend any game that features pressing F to fish. This is now tied for best magical moth rogue-like I have every played. Very solid for early access. There are some bugs, but nothing that really gets in the way of playing the game.3 found this helpful

I don't know what I was expecting. I don't know where I saw this game but it was on my wishlist. It's a Risk of Rain clone but it fails at its strengths. The character kits are lacking (e.g. Character 1 has 2 abilities). Dealing/Taking damage feels unresponsive, there's not much 'juice', and even the weak enemies are incredibly tanky for how many of them there are. For a combat focused game the combat wasn't fun. I like the take on a flight based roguelike, I guess. The items (from what I've seen) are boring. Stuff like "+10HP", "+50HP", 2 seperate items just for that. Whenever you open a chest you pick between items, but sometimes you'll just get the same choice twice (and the game doesn't pause, so if you don't speedread you will take damage). The Visuals are grating. Everything is far too saturated it gives me headache. And as stated I don't know when and from where I was taking damage. Shoulda just played the demo.1 found this helpful
