I can't remember if I beat this one or the demo for the first game (haven't played since the Oct 2024 Next Fest), but I got stuck in one of them and stopped playing and the other I actually thought was neat. An enjoyable preview of the final product-which looks to be a game within a game where you manipulate objects in the "real" world to cause effects in the computer game's world. A fun idea.
This demo was simply amazing. Minigames were simple yet entertaining

✔️ Played 11.20.2025 "Is This Game Trying to Kill Me? Preface" is a creative, niche puzzle game where you’re trapped in a cabin with a creepy monster toying with you, much like the Saw movies. The game challenges you to solve puzzles under the threat of brutal death for every wrong move. What makes the demo stand out is that it’s an independent, fully contained experience rather than just a teaser for the full game. The clever mechanic is how you juggle between a 2D world on a computer and the first-person cabin environment. For instance, you might find a skeleton in the 2D world and then discover it’s missing a head. Once you find the head and place it in the game world, the skeleton in the real world now holds a key, which you use to open a door in the 2D world. The puzzles are fun, as you flip between both dimensions to gradually explore more of the cabin, all while trying to avoid death. Eventually, you reach the treasure world, but... surprise! Death is inevitable anyway. This game is incredibly unique and fun for what it offers, and I'd love to see where it goes in the full version. 4.4 out of 5
Amazing. Don't mistake this for a demo, this is a separate teaser game.
