Really cool concept! I love how much effort the dev put into this game. It definitely isn't 100% perfect, but for the price of FREE i don't care. Thank you for this really cool game!

異ノ故リ Isolated Hours is a really effective little horror game because it takes something completely ordinary and turns it into something I genuinely did not want to be alone with. I am simply trying to finish my work and leave the office, but strange things start happening around me as I move through the building. I liked that the setup is so mundane because it makes every unusual event stand out much more. The main gameplay is built around completing simple office tasks while keeping an eye out for anomalies. I need to switch off monitors, lights and air conditioning before I can leave, but the office itself keeps changing around me. Phones can ring on their own, chairs can start moving and objects can float, so I have to pay attention instead of treating the objectives like a normal checklist. I really enjoyed the way the game makes observation part of the horror. When something strange happens, I need to deal with it rather than simply ignoring it, because anomalies can actually hurt me if I leave them alone. This gives the otherwise simple tasks a little more tension. Even walking into a familiar office room can become uncomfortable when I start wondering whether something has…

Good short horror game

Short, free, and good. What else ya want.

One of the quickest horror games I've ever played, but pretty solid! The office is haunted AF, but this is Japan, so you still gotta finish work before you can leave. Turn off all monitors, lights, and Thermostats. If you see an anomalous object, touch it to calm it down. If you see an anomalous ENTITY, avoid eye contact and get clear. The office is accurately depressing, and the creature isn't something I'd want to run into. The only frustrating part was at the end, I had to redo it 3 times as there just wasn't much time to react. ^That said, it still only took about 10min to clear the game. Great if you need a spook, and don't have much time...or if you just hate your evil office!
