About Isotiles 2

Isotiles 2 is an isometric puzzle game and the sequel to Isotiles. Like the first game, the main goal of each level is to remove all the blue tiles and then get to the exit tile. The game features all new levels and some new tile types as well for more interesting puzzles. In addition, there is an explorable level map where you enter each level from, and there will also be locks that open up when a certain number of levels are completed. Like the first game, you won't have to complete every level to get to the later ones.

The game can be played fully with the mouse, but there are also optional keyboard commands.
Move -- WASD or arrow keys
Reset -- R
Undo -- Z
To menu or exit -- Esc
Isotiles 2

Time Played:
5 Minutes
Last Played:
26th of January, 2026

Terraria 1.4.5 Lead-up Volume 32. ...in which I test a hypothesis, and have it unfortunately-proven.
Yay:
+ Hub World! + Minimalist art style was charming to me. + Immediately feels like an evolution of the first. + You can undo moves, rather than needing to restart the entire level.
Meh:
~ Nothing found.
Nay:
- Nothing by way of controller support. - Just as uncontrollable as the first, a marked delay being present between letting go of a key, and the character stopping. - This leads to numerous errors that then need to be undone to continue trying to play. - All of this culminates to a massive, convoluted time waste.

Verdict:
The hope was that this one would fix the issues of the first game, and revise the slidy controls to make it playable without tapping every input. That was very much not the case, and as a result, this gets sorted to the same bin the first one was...
Placed in:
5: Dourly-Dismissed.

Just like the first game, it's a simple and short but nice puzzle game. A bargain on sales and in general in my opinion. Simple except for the last level which I didn't manage to complete on my own somehow xDD.

A lot of levels don't have any logical solution, you just need to try, open hidden tiles and try again (sometimes several times)

Thank you, nana (her actual screen name), for that guide. I was able to 100% this game thanks to her. Before then I had just 5 levels left unsolved, and no idea how to solve them. It's a good game. Very challenging puzzles.

Help. I am stuck on level 40. I turn all the squares red and cover all five of the ? boxes, but there is still a tile missing that prevents me from getting to the blinking exit. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

The sequel to the original Isotiles game guarantees you can eat away at it more leisurely, like biscuits.
