This game has hands-down the funniest writing I have ever seen in any video game. Every other line is immensly quotable. And while this is the first thing that you'll notice about the game I have to point out the amazing art, animations and direction that all contribute immensly to let the writing shine as much as it does. The weird shuffling way Jason and the Rookie walk and the way everyone's faces contort whenever someone is shwoing any emotions are hillarious and beautiful. I played it with 3 friends over the span of a couple of evenings and we had a wonderful time. This is an amazing game and you owe it to yourself to play it.4 found this helpful
I will not bore you with the details. i failed the second trial, but i found love, met God and became mildly addicted to oppium. Now I've cracked it. I cracked it hard.2 found this helpful
A parody of hard-boiled detective games, the writing feels heavily inspired by Naked Gun in the best way. If youre looking for a light, 1-2 hour adventure this game is a great reccommendation2 found this helpful
This game may be the very definition of a hidden jem! Incredible writing that made me burst out loud several times, secrets that felt very fun and rewarding to find, and an all and all incredible attention to detail- I scanned over just about every object and somehow still missed several interactables and an ENTIRE subplot! Very much looking forward to going back to this one to 100%. I'm looking forward to future games made by this developer!2 found this helpful
this game is ass
It is meant for people with a very specific sense of humor. I unfortunately am not one of them. If the humor doesn't land, there really isn't much going for this game. The gameplay is rather boring and the game takes less than 2 hours to beat.
